AISI 630 17-4PH Stainless Steel Plate

The 630 stainless steel plate, also known as 17-4PH, is a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel. It contains approximately 17% chromium and 4% nickel, with the addition of copper, niobium, and manganese. The alloy can be heat treated to high strength levels while maintaining good corrosion resistance.

Product Description
After aging treatment with copper-niobium precipitation strengthening mechanism, the tensile strength of stainless steel 630 alloy plate can reach more than 1310MPa (about 2.5 times that of 304 stainless steel), while still maintaining an elongation of more than 10%, meeting the stringent load requirements of aerospace fasteners, high-pressure valves, etc. Its fatigue strength can reach 500MPa under 10⁷ cycles, which is suitable for mechanical structures with frequent vibrations.

In marine or chemical media containing chloride ions, the corrosion resistance of 630 stainless steel plate is close to that of 316L stainless steel, with an annual corrosion rate of <0.02mm. After cold bending, the strength can be increased by 20%, which is suitable for manufacturing complex parts such as helicopter decks and pressure vessels.

630 stainless steel cold-rolled plate is 30%-50% lower in cost than nickel-based alloys, and can still maintain more than 80% of high-temperature strength under working conditions below 600℃, and can reduce 40% of weight by replacing traditional high-strength steel.
