The diamond/lentil-shaped pattern design on the surface of ss 304L chequered plate increases the friction coefficient by more than 40%. In a wet environment, the friction coefficient is ≥0.5, which is far higher than that of flat stainless steel. It effectively reduces the risk of slipping on stair treads and operating platforms and meets industrial safety standards.
304L stainless steel chequer plate contains 18% chromium and 8-10% nickel. It can resist corrosion from humid atmosphere, weak acid and alkali (such as food-grade organic acid), fresh water, etc. In environments such as beverage factory floors and humid workshop platforms, its service life is 3-5 times longer than that of carbon steel chequered plates, and its surface is not easy to rust.
The plasticity of 304L stainless steel diamond tread plate is better than that of duplex steel. It can be easily processed by cutting, bending, stamping, etc. It supports customization of thickness from 1.5 to 8 mm, and the pattern depth is uniform (0.5 to 2 mm, which can meet various customer needs.
