What does stainless steel profile include?

‌Stainless steel profiles include many types, which can be mainly divided into the following categories:
‌Classification by cross-sectional shape: Stainless steel profiles can be divided into ordinary profiles and special profiles according to the cross-sectional shape. Ordinary profiles include round steel, flat steel, square steel, angle steel, channel steel, hexagonal bars, etc. Special profiles include retaining rings, horseshoe steel, magnetic pole steel, presser foot plate, shallow channel steel, small channel steel, T-shaped steel, ball flat steel, feed tooth steel, hot-rolled hexagonal steel, etc.

‌Classification by use: Stainless steel profiles can be divided into the following categories according to their use:
‌Architectural stainless steel profiles: Mainly used in the construction field, such as stainless steel square tubes, stainless steel rectangular tubes, stainless steel round tubes, stainless steel H-shaped steel, stainless steel flat plates, etc., commonly used in construction, decoration, power industry, shipbuilding and chemical equipment and other fields.
‌Rail vehicle structure: Mainly used in rail vehicle body manufacturing.
‌Radiator stainless steel profiles: Mainly used in radiator manufacturing.

‌Classification by alloy composition‌: Stainless steel profiles can be divided into a variety of alloy grades according to alloy composition, such as 1024, 2011, 6063, 6061, 6082, 7075, etc., among which 6 series is the most common. The difference between different grades lies in the different ratios of various metal components‌.

‌Classification by metallographic structure‌: Stainless steel profiles can be divided into austenitic stainless steel and ferritic stainless steel according to metallographic structure. The representative steel type of austenitic stainless steel is 304 stainless steel and its derivatives, such as 304L, 316L, etc. The main material of ferritic stainless steel is 430 stainless steel and its derivatives, such as 409L, 430F, etc.‌

Stainless steel profiles are stainless steel materials with different cross-sectional shapes obtained by hot melting and extrusion of stainless steel rods. The production process of stainless steel profiles mainly includes three processes: melting, extrusion and coloring. Among them, coloring mainly includes: oxidation, electrophoretic coating, fluorocarbon spraying, powder spraying, wood grain transfer and other processes.
Stainless steel angle steel: specifications 10mmX10mm-150mmX150mm
Stainless steel flat steel, stainless steel square steel: specifications 10mmX10mm-750mmX750mm
