AMS 5529 is a specification established by SAE International for annealed (Condition A) 17-7PH stainless steel sheets and plates. This material is primarily used when high mechanical strength and good corrosion resistance are required after simple heat treatments. It can be further aged to Condition RH950 or CH900 to achieve extremely high strength.
